Kittanning TWP Fire Department was established in May 1966. We provide Fire & Rescue Service to the residents of Kittanning TWP and also provide QRS service to the residents of Kittanning TWP. The Department provides mutual aid to Eldereton, Burrell TWP, Manor TWP, Rayburn TWP and Rural Valley Fire Departments. We also provide rescue services to Manor TWP. We operate with a main station and a sub station on the lower end of the township. In those two stations we house seven trucks. We also do various fund raising activities, such as bingo, turkey dinners, fish fry's, gun shows, gun drawings, jewelry drawings, flea markets, and hall rentals.
